Long drive in August from Maine to Gaspe, wanting to stop overnight in or near Campbelltown, NB, before heading off the next morning for drive around Gaspe. Any recommendations for accommodation? Simple, clean, quiet, affordable are all good.

I know some other areas that might make for a good stop...perhaps others will chime in if you are keen on this spot...it is, BTW, Campbellton, Gateway to the Atlantic Provinces, if you are still searching.
Thanks, LJ. No wonder nothing happened when I searched under the other spelling! Just looking for a place to rest our heads for the night. Would you look elsewhere?
Checking on-line, I see three "brand name" motels: Howard Johnson, Comfort Inn, and Super 8. TripAdvisor has one review of the HoJo and it's positive. I've only been in Campellton once and that was in winter. I think it would be quite suitable for a stopover. There's quite a bit of French spoken in Campbellton, but if you're headed for the Gaspe, you're obviously prepared to handle another language.
