We're staying downtown. There on business but always up for a delicious meal. Thanks!

I"m sorry - I see another recent post with a request for Vancouver restaurant recommendations. Will check that out!!
Go to Vij's. The wait is part of the experience. We also loved Miko -- traditional Japanese. It was not fancy, but the service and food were great!
Thanks Misha. I saw your recommendation too late. Ended up at Blue Water Cafe. The food was good and the wines were lovely. And I liked the neighborhood. But it wasn't super special - rather struck me as a little sister to Nobu, sort of derivative. So maybe would have been better off at Vij's.
Anyway, I stayed at the newly renovated Hotel Georgia, which was great. And I went for a run in Stanley Park, which was spectacular. I really loved Vancouver!
