Nova Scotia & PEI Hiking

Jump to last reply

Are there any hiking trails that anyone recommends doing or not doing in the Cape Chignecto, Cape Breton or PEI areas? We enjoy moderate to rocky/strenuous hikes with big payoffs (I.e. Waterfalls, cliffs, mountains, amazing views etc.). I'd say 10 miles max. round trip. We'll be in these areas between 6/28 to 7/10. I've already found a few hikes (listed below) and would love some feedback. We've never been to NS/PEI so this is new territory for us to explore.

Also, is the PEI Ntl Park worth checking out?

C.B. Highlands Ntl Park:
- Skyline Trail
- Fraley Trail

Meat Cove:
- Money Point Trail

Cape Chignecto:
- The trail that overlooks the Three Sisters (the name is escaping me right now)

These are what I found doing a quick search; any suggestions, critiques, alternatives are welcome.

Thank you in advance for any help!
