Nova Scotia Honeymoon advice needed

Jump to last reply

My fiancé and I will be flying into Halifax on August 21 for our honeymoon. We only have one week as we will be flying back to Toronto on August 28th

We want to see all of Nova Scotia but don't want to rush it. So we are trying to decide between spending a couple days in Halifax and going north to Cape Breton or spending a couple days in Halifax and going south to see Lununberg and the Bay of Fundy.

We want to go whale watching, kayaking, bicycling, enjoy scenic drives and some mild hiking. We also want to enjoy nice restaurants and maybe some live music at night. We are used to busy, active traveling, but this will be our honeymoon so we want to make sure that it's relaxing as well.

Any suggestions? Cape Breton or Bay of Fundy? If we do cape Breton, do you suggest staying at a couple of different places along the Cabot trail or just staying somewhere central and doing day trips. Also, hotel and any other advice is welcome and appreciated.

Thank you!

Ali
