Well, it will be long (15-16 hours) and it will be tiring but not too tiring if you break it up and stay over a couple of nights. I hate driving so I would not be able to do more than 5 hours a day. But you may not mind driving. The fact that you are asking this question leads me to believe that you are not crazy about driving.
Have you considered flying to YHZ(Halifax)? You cld fly and then rent a car when you get there.

Good point, LJ. I calculated from NYC to Halifax. Don't know the distance/time from upstate NY to any other point of entry in NS.
