Hi all.
My parents are planning to visit Canada to view the northern lights - they want to know the best place to view them as they only have limited time?
They are flying into LA and aren't sure of the best way to go from there?
Hope this makes sense to someone!
Thank you.

'Way, 'way up north, a very long and very expensive journey from Southern California, with no guarantees of success, although the odds are certainly better in the sub-Arctic. I suggest you find your parents some more specialized tourist/science info on the Internet as to the nature of this unquestionably awesome phenomenon. Polar bears are easier to find in some of the areas where the lights can be glimpsed.
