I'll be staying in Nova Scotia for a few months and want to visit NFLD so I was hoping someone could help me with my itinerary. As of right now, I will be travelling solo but that may change. I will have my own car and I'll be coming from North Sydney, NS.
The plan I have so far is:
- take ferry to Port aux Basque
-spend 2nights near Gros Morne
-spend 2 nights in Port Rexton (would like to some tips of where I should stop along this long drive)
-spend 2-3 nights in St. John's
-visit Cape St. Mary's before heading to Argentia and take the ferry back
I realize that the ferry from Argentia only operates during a certain period.
I am able to add a day or two more. Any "must sees" along this route would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
