Newfoundland questions

Jump to last reply

We will be in Newfoundland for about ten days in early May. Is this too early in the season as far as weather goes ? Are restaurants open in small towns ? Sorry if these are dumb questions.

We would like to stay in really nice country inns with their own restaurant or ones nearby. One that has caught out eye is the Bread and Cheese Country Inn at Bay Bulls. Any suggestions of others like this ?

We will have a car but don't want to spend a lot of time driving great distances. Would a few days in St Johns plus the Avalon Peninsula be enough to fill ten days ? Or what else should we consider ?
