New Brunswick and Nova Scotia: Camping

Jump to last reply

Hello. My family will have two weeks to spend in New Brunswick and Nova Scotia this summer. We are camping in a little pop-up trailer (there are four of us, two adults and two young teens), and we're hoping to spend a couple of days in each campsite where possible and not drive more than 4 hours between sites. We enjoy short-medium hikes, nice views, local culture, good mix of cities/towns and natural sites. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Days 1 & 2: Herring Cove Provincial Park on Campobello Island
Days 3 & 4: Fundy National Park (which campground is most scenic?)
Day 5: Amherst Shores Provincial Park
Day 6:Havre Boucher: MacLeod's Inverness Beach Campground
Days 7 & 8: Cheticamp
Day 9: Louisbourg, Point of View RV Campground
Day 10: Battery Provincial Park
Day 11: Taylor Head Provincial Park
Days 12 & 13: Halifax (Shubie, Graves Island Prov. Park? Suggestions?)
Day 14: Five Islands Provincial Park
Day 15: New River Beach Provincial Park

Many thanks in advance for any/all suggestions. I haven't made any reservations yet, so we're quite flexible.
