My last question about Montreal: Shopping for Scents
Hello Everyone,
This may sound like a strange question but is there any particular place in Montreal that specializes in lavender and potpourri items?
I am not looking for a store like LUSH, which is more about soaps and bath bombs, or L'OCCITANE, which is available in the NYC.
Looking more for local Quebec brands--if they exist--for these scent items.
Thank you very much!

There is a nice Quebec chain called Dans un jardin (check out their website--same name, .com), which has lavender, other herb/floral/fruit scented items, and which has branches in Place Ville Marie and Place Montreal Trust. Very good products, nice gifts. There are also 2 Lush stores, one on St-Denis, the other on St-Catherine near Drummond St.

They certainly will sell lavender & potpourri... have some great "other" soaps and perfumes as well... check out Senteurs de Provence on rue Saint-Denis (it's somewhere between Duluth and Marie-Anne Streets).

Dans Un Jardin is fabulous, you'll love it.
There is also Fruits et Passions, less extensive than DUJ but worth looking at.
Fruits et Passions have a store on St. Denis street and another one at the underground mall connecting to the Eaton Center.
re: suede boots; I saw some at all the stores we discussed on previous posts, a lot of fall merchandise arrived this week !!!
