Anybody have restaurant suggestions for Mont Tremblant? Any price or cuisine is fine. Thanks!

Hi,

Here are a few suggestions. Note that prices re a little higher at Tremblant given that it is a resort (plus they tack on a 2% royalty on all meals).

Creperie Catherine (good crepes, nice place for a late breakfast or lunch) - moderate

La Savoie - delicious cheese and meat fondues; good chocolate fondue (expensive - $30 pp for each fondue). note that the meal price includes salad and side dishes (rice, potatoes, etc.)

Coco Pazzo - decent Italian food - dinner for two approx $100.

There are also some good restaurants in the town of St. Jovite - 10 minute drive away. We like Le Cheval JAde for Provencal cooking (great bouillabaisse); Le Repair and L'EScalope.

The Chateau Fairmont has some ok buffets on Friday and Saturday nights - a bit pricy for what you get.

We had a great (but not cheap) dinner at L'Auberge Sauvignon in the Village of Mt. Tremblant (not the pedestrian village at the base of Tremblant resort but the actual village itself). There's also a great italian place there but can't remember the name.

Enjoy!

Thanks everybody! I'm going to call today for reservations to L'Auberge Sauvignon and we'll almost certainly try the fondue place and who knows what else!

L?Eau à la Bouche in St-Adele is definitely best of the best. Well worth the trip and the tariff.

Thanks for the suggestions everyone! We had a WONDERFUL meal at Le Cheval de Jade that was so relaxing and just perfect. The favorite was the caribou entree and the goat cheese pouch appetizer. Also very nice creme brulee.

Also had pleasant meals at someplace called Antipastos (in St Jovite) and the Hotel Tremblant. We used to always stay at the Hotel Tremblant and the rooms there include food so eating there was for old times sake - it was very good and reasonably priced. Had to grab a hamburger the other night to pacify the 14 year old.
