Try this number for Travel Alberta.
1-800-661-8888. Ask for a road map and the Accommodations Guide.

Also, go to any search engine and enter Travel Alberta as your key phrase.
You will uncover many pages that are helpful.

Banff and Lake Louise are expensive.
I usually stay in the village of Field, which is 15 miles from Lake Louise.
Many private homes in Field have small apartments for rent. We have stayed there two times: Mt. Stephens Guest House and Mt. Burgess Guest House.
You can call Yoho National Park Headquarters and request a list of "Parks Approved" accommodations.
There about 20 establishments that rent.
For Jasper, get the "Parks Approved"
list of rooms and apartments in private homes. The list is long, and a few places have accommodations.
Other than that, Jasper House Bungalows have kitchens, but it is a popular place with the tour buses. Prices at Jasper House start at about $100, USD.

Beckes Roaring River establishment is also nice. I had forgotten about it.
Last summer at Twin Falls Chalet, I met a fellow guest who is the daughter of the man who built the cabins.
Both Beckers and Jasper House are on the river. From Jasper House we could walk down to the stream and watch the rafts go floating by. Everybody seemed to having a good time, so that is one activity you might consider -- a float trip.
