Does anyone know of a nice place to stay for a large family who wants to vacation in or near Banff & Lake Louise, Jasper areas? We are planning it for summer of 2001. Thinking of a large cabin with 2 bathrooms, 2 Q beds and 3 additional single beds. Family includes: Mother/Father, 2 adult daughters, 1 adult son and 2 16 yr.old grandsons. Would appreciate any suggestions for lodging in the moderate price range. $300 Canadian per night. Thanks

Try linking to the Alberta bed and breakfast association, and try stayin at Canmore, which is just outside the park gate. There are quite a few with attatched cabins or large suites. I doubt that you will get 2 bathrooms however, but hope springs eternal.
Randy: Thank you for your response to my inquiry regarding lodging for a family. We have decided to book in Canmore at the Best Western..they have a swimming pool indoors and a fireplace in every room. Thought the pool would come in handy. Also booked two nights in Jasper at the Pyramid Lake Resort. Both of these places came highly recommended by sweet Suzie and Alistair Bear. Thanks again for your kind response.
