Lodging and Golf in PEI
We will be travelling to PEI for a few days during the first two weeks of August this summer and are looking for a place to stay near beach and the best golf on the island.

What are the top three courses on PEI (your opinions)?

Is the Rodd Resort at Crowbush worth the extraordinary price pr night they are asking??

What would be your next lodging choices. We like hotels or larger inns more than B&Bs and too rustic cabins. Would consider renting a nice cabin if we could get it per night instead of per week.

Try the Inn at St.Peters. Close to Crowbush, the Links and Dundarave. All great with different vegetation and terrains. St. Peters has all inclusive packages, golf, meals and accomodations. All excellent. Good luck. Cannot remember website right now but search under google for the (inn at St. Peters).

Just a note here is the address. We ate there several times the summer before last. Be sure to order the lobster and order cappucino on the enclosed deck overlooking the oysters growing in the bay. www.innatstpeters.pe.ca

We stayed at the Crowbush resort last summer not long after they opened I believe. It was an okay resort, I guess for PEI it is considered quite good. I'm not trying to be arrogant or anything like that, just that it was not what we would have considered "luxury". As to the pricing, I cant really remember what we payed, so I'm not sure if the rates are "extraordinary" this year compared to last. The sevice was mainly what we felt was lakcing, everyone was friendly enough and tried hard, just werent very experienced we found. Others we spoke to felt the same. Hopefully things have improved this year. We had a very nice room, king bed, seperate living area, jacuzzi tub etc. Shuttle to beach, 3 minutes, 5-10 minute walk. We dont golf, so I cant help you there, although most seemed to be happy with the golf. Met many couples who were golfing there for a two day stay, then moving on to a new place for 2 more days, etc. Seems like a popular thing to do! Overall, we enjoyed the few days of relaxing, and the hotel itself was nice enough.
