Any ideas of traveling up coast to New Brunswick? Wanted to go to NS, HOWEVER,, The cat is not running then.
What about St. Johns? Would it be worth
driving up to NB for a couple of days?
Is St. Johns a Good place to visit?

Here's a lesson in Cdn. geopolitics for you. St. Johns does not exist. St. John, with no s, is the largest city in New Brunswick. St. John's, with an apostrophe and an s, is the largest city and capital of Newfoundland. Unfortunately, the Newfoundland city is much more interesting than the new Brunswick one, but not on your route.
St. John still not a bad city to visit for half a day or so. You could drive up from Bar Harbor to Campebello Island, over to Deer Island, then to St. John for maybe half a day. Visit the market downtown, see the reversing falls, and then follow the Bay of Fundy up to Moncton. Then is is only a few hours (dull) drive to Halifax, which, even in October, is well worth a visit.
You might also check into the St. John - Digby Nova Scotia ferry.
BAK
Close Brian, but not quite right. For Saint John in New Brunswick, the "Saint" is not abbreviated to "St."
