Is Prince Edward Island worth just a few hours?

Jump to last reply

We have a tight schedule, leaving Hopewell Rocks around 9 AM, arriving at Summerside on PEI around 11:15 AM, and then leaving PEI the next morning, either by bridge or ferry around 1100, because we have to be in Invernesss by6:30PM for dinner, then spending the night in Cheticamp.
We personally have no interest in Anne of Green Gables (not meant to insult anyone). We could also change our hotel to Charlottetown.

Question - should we forget PEI, make that day a leisurely one, do laundry, stop overnight in a place like Truro, then have a leisurely drive thru inverness to Cheticamp?

Many Thanks
Steve
