WE will drive with our two dogs, the ones that love to see scenery, remember??? to PEI. I would like some information about the specific areas of the island. I have read other posts and understand there is one beach are where the currents bring warm waters for swimming. Which area is that? which area would be interesting to stay in? We like to walk, eat out, drive, need pet friendly accomodations. Just looking for some opinions or information. Thanks.
I Need Specific INfo about locations on PEI

Cavendish, on the side of the island away from New Brunswick (more or less the north side) has quite warm, highly swimmable, water.
BAK
I have always found the south side of the Island to have much warmer water ...Cavendish is on the north.
Thanks for the responses, but I sure am confused now.
The Island is small enough you can try both sides..and there are lots of beautiful beaches..both the National park in Cavendish and free beaches...Sorry for the confusion.
