Hottest Temps Experienced in Canada?

In response to krp's suggestion, I'm starting a new thread.

In Saskatchewan (where I was born and raised and lived until recently) we experienced 41 Celsius once - that is the hottest I have experienced in Canada.

This past summer (in Saskatchewan) it was between 35-38 for several days in a row and it was unbearable. However, I do not like temps over 25. My ideal temps would be between 10 and 18 Celsius.

Hottest I've ever experienced was Greece this year. We were in Santorini at the end of August and temps climbed to 40C (not sure what the humidex was reading but it was humid as well)!!

We landed in Thessaloniki - 39C coming from Calgary at 13C - felt like we were walking in a convection oven.

The hottest temp I have experienced was in Italy, closely followed by Saskatchewan. Weird comparison...

I know the Okanagan Valley and the interior of BC, specifically around Kamloops, frequently experiences temperatures up to the 40's Celsius in summertime. I've driven through that area once and when you open your car door, it feels like you're stepping out into an oven!
