Hotel in Vancouver providing airport transportation

We arrive into the port in Vancouver in the morning from a cruise. Our plan is to sightsee using the hop on hop off bus...but the next day we have a 6 am flight. So what we be our lodging options of a Hotel to store our luggage and that would provide us transportation to the airport?

You could stay at the Fairmount at the airport. Can take Canada line from port to airport, drop luggage, back on Canada line to central Vancouver. In the morning, a short walk to your departure gate.

Thank-you leuk2, any other suggestions in case I can't get a reasonable deal at The Fairmont?

No hotels in Vancouver offer transportation to the airport. The only hotels offering airport transportation are the airport hotels, which are in the city of Richmond, the suburb city where the airport's located.

You could stay somewhere downtown, get your hotel to hold your bags while you do your tour, and then simply fork out the money for a cab the next morning. It'll cost you beween $30-40.

I should also mention, you may wish to rethink taking a hop on hop off tour while in Vancouver. The reviews are terrible, for all of them. The main complaints are that the buses are always late, and when they show up, they're full, so you end up waiting for the next one, which is also late, and also full. Just telling you this ahead of time to set your expectations appropriately.

An alternative is to just head to Stanley Park for the morning, explore Granville Island in the afternoon, then have dinner somewhere nice downtown in Gastown or Yaletown or along Robson Street.

If you do crave a tour, I'd maybe fork out the money for a set tour, or just go into the Hop On Hop Off with low expectations.

Are either of these the unreliable hop on hop off that you referred to Robin?
A new tourist attraction in Vancouver is Flyover Canada

http://www.flyovercanada.com

You can purchase a "hop on/off" ticket for the trolleys so you can travel around the city to most of the tourist attractions. We purchased ours at the hotel

the website for the trolley is www.vancouvertrolley.com we bought the tickets online and got two days... there are thirty stops and no need for a car as the trolleys come every 20 minutes... a fantastic option to eliminate costly and difficult city parking...

deladeb - It seems to have the better reviews out of the 3-4 companies. You can see what other people have said, here: http://www.tripadvisor.com/Attractio..._Columbia.html
