You're more likely to get ideas if you ask specific questions, and will be more capable of evaluating the responses if you have acquired some background. Go to the Destinations menu top-left and see Fodor's suggestions for the two cities. Then, at top right, you can check the forum archives for previous posts. To sharpen your focus, try searching for my name as I have done my fair share of answering. Any attempt to reply to an open-ended request like yours, though, would be purely guesswork, and repetitious too.

Giagrl- I also have an interest in your query. Having never been there before, I like your "open-ended" question. Having traveled quite a bit, I always start with a clean slate of ideas. This forum always helps fill in the specifics. Hopefully, someone will do that for us. In the meantime, I'll check Southams posts.

We would like to sightsee, snowmobile, restaurants etc. Would like to drive to Shawinigan if possible and also see Charlevoix. Hope this gives more of an idea of our interests. Thank you.
