Help with 10 day trip out of Montreal

Hi,
My wife and myself aree going to be in Montreal towards the end of July/beginning of August to visit our daughters who study at McGill. We were thinking of doing a 10 day driving trip out of Montreal maybe upto Halifax. We would appreciate any suggestions as to places to go, things to see etc.
