Help - Prebook Advised?

Hi
Now getting to finer details of holiday starting September 7th and wondered if it's advisable (and/or possible) to pre-book any of the following?
Annual National Park Ticket
Victoria
Butchart Gardens
Royal BC Museum
Vancouver
Dinner at Grouse Mountain
Dinner at Night on Cruise
Ferries
Anacortes to Sidney
Naniamo to Horseshoe Bay
and finally, just in case(!)
Rockies
Lake Minnewanka Boat Trip
Sulphur Mountain Gondola
Spirit Island Cruise (Maligne Lake)
Jasper Tramway

Cheers

Butchart's and Royal BC Museum - don't know if you can and shouldn't need to.

Dinner at Grouse Mountain - are you sure you want to? Restaurant there seemed rather grungy to us, but it would be interesting to hear what others think.

Ferry from Anacortes to Sidney - why not? The reservation fee is applied to the regular fee so you don't lose anything by reserving.

Nanaimo to Horseshoe Bay - hard to say. We arrived at Tsawwassen at 6:45 last Saturday night and the 7:00 sailing to Swartz Bay was only about 40% full.

Thanks April
I realise I must sound like a boring old fart but is there any one else who can help with any of the items on the list?
It really would be beneficial to my health if I my mind was set at rest on these tickets!
Thank you

Victoria - you can't make reservations at either Butchart's or the Museum.

Ferries - yes if you know which ferry you want to take.

Rockies - can't make reservations at Sulphur Mountain

We visited Victoria last August and absolutely loved the city. We went to Butchart on a Saturday night (they were having fireworks) and it was mobbed, so assume that all comers were welcomed. Incidentally, investigate how to get there. We stupidly paid an astronomical amount of money (over $50US as I recall) for a taxi. It is some little way out of town and, of course, the meter kept ticking when we were dead stopped several times in traffic.

We learned that a bus is available and that's how we returned to town. It was very inexpensive ($12.00 for both of us). The trip ended at the bus station, just behind the Empress Hotel. We walked to the hotel, went to the Bengal Lounge (which we had planned to visit sometime during our trip), had a drink, relaxed and enjoyed listening to a jazz trio that was playing.

The Royal BC Museum is absolutely wonderful! We just walked in, paid the entrance fee and thoroughly enjoyed all that we saw. Incidentally, the museum shop is excellent. I love museum shops as they often have such unique things, and this one didn't disappoint.
