Just booked a one bedroom suite at this hotel. It looks good and seems close enough to the Parliment Buildings etc., bu I know that sometimes it is not the case. If any one has stayed here can you let me know what your experience was?
My husband and two grown sons are going in a couple of weeks and just spending two nights here before moving on.
Thanks very much
Has anyone stayed at Ottawas Cartier Place Suite Hotel?

Hi live42day,
I just returned from a stay at the Cartier Place Suite hotel. It's 5 blocks from Parliament Hill. Go out the door, turn left onto Elgin, and walk forward from there. Parliament Hill is to the left. I found the walk very easy. The staff were very helpful.
My goal is to write a trip report tonight so I'll have more to say then.
Hope that helps.

Oops, I just realized my directions were a bit confusing. Take a left out the door onto Cooper. At the intersection of Cooper and Elgin, turn right (onto Elgin) and walk from there.

thanksTR. Just what we were looking for, something close and clean.
