I am looking to go to Winnipeg if Montreal goes to the Grey Cup but to be honest, there is not a hotel available in the town the weekend of Nov 17-20. Maybe they are all blocked off ?
Any ideas from any of the Peggers out there of where to stay or find a room or what the real hotel situation is for that weekend ?

Article on www.cbc.ca today about the hotel crunch.
Seems the child protection people are housing children in hotel rooms due to lack of space in foster homes. They are being evicted due to prior booking commitments.
Sounds like things are tight.
Through some CFL connections, I was able to get a room at the Inn at the Forks or something like that. At least I will confirm that today. Thanks I will post another request that for things to do that may be easier to answer.
