I am back again still searching out my trip to New Brunswick and in need of some more information about Fundy National Park, Fundy Trail and The Hopewell Rocks. Are these kind of all the same thing. I really want to go to the Hopewell Rocks but what is the Fundy Trail and Fundy National Park what will I miss if we do not go to these Fundy ones? Thanks again for the info.

Try to call the NB tourism Board...
1-800-561-0123. They can aswer all questions you have. The Fundy Trail I am pretty sure is a highway with a senic drive. Fundy National Park is just that a national park. Hopewell Rocks are very near the national park, but I think they are actually Provincial ( I have lived in Canada all my life and still can't spell that correctly)
I lived in NB for a few years, and did some extensive travelling around the province...just me and my trusty camera.
Fundy National Park is pretty to drive through. The Fundy Trail is a certain 'route' in the province..there are also a few other drives to take if you want...just follow the colour-coded signs depicting which route you are on.
Hopewell Rocks are not within the park, but are interesting to see.
St. Martins, is interesting, with caves to explore, covered bridges, etc...and you get a good idea of how high the tides can be. You can be walking thorugh the caves in the morning, then a few hours later, the caves are completely filled with water.
The scenic drives in NB are really nice to see...check out a few of them, and bring lots of film.
Seems like we had another discussion on this subject. Hopewell Rocks are a provincial park south of Moncton.
It is a good place to walk along the bottom of the bay at low tide. There are ladders that lead down and places where you can see the impact of those 35 and 40 foot tides.
Thank you all for your help, but can I ask one more question. If you drive the Fundy Trail to Hopewell Rocks how long does that take?
