My husband is going on 4 day/long weekend fishing trip with group of people from his office as reward for closing big project. The resort in Prince Rupert Sound says to pack only 25 lbs to allow for either 1--the float plane that will deliver them to the floating resort or 2--to allow for the salmon they are supposed to catch and ship home.
There is possibility they will be flying (at least some of them) on private jet vs commercial so weight/size are consideration there as well.
And he wants to take jeans vs the light weight pants that often convert to shorts...
Any suggestion for a very light weight bag that will handle clothing for 4 day trip.
His bags fly free with his flyer status so we usually check bags and ours are older/heavier.
I don't think he will want an shoulder bag even though that is normally lighter than roller bag.
Appreciate any suggestions--

Definitely jeans over shorts. Think of the location of the area - it's a coastal rainforest. That will give you some idea what to pack. Rainproof and something lightweight and warm, like a sweater. I live less than 150 km away and I can tell you it's still chilly in the morning and evening.
A soft sided duffel bag is what I've used for ages-hard sided luggage and float planes do not mix well due to space restrictions as planes are often quite small/cramped.
It will be quite cold in the AM when leaving the dock-a warm knitted hat and light wool gloves are a must as are heavy wool sox and polar fleece or wool pants-a scarf a good idea.
One way to deal with the weight allowance is to pack small heavy things like cameras/binoculars in a carry on-which is rarely if ever weighed.
Thanks for that info but will it really be that cold in June--he is going 22nd. Photos on the resort's web site that are dated June show guys with ball caps, long sleeve pullover shirts pushed up, and jeans for the most part--of course they were taken in what looks like afternoon since there is good amount of sunlight
So he already was planning to do the layers and bought a waterproof jacket with a hood...and some waterproof boat shoes and wool socks but from what you are saying it sounds like he needs to take some heavier clothing...and more weight...
Would you recommend taking a waterproof camera?
We have recently bought a house in FL for vacation home and I know we will be spending time on beach and fishing from the jetties so a waterproof camera could be used there as well as for this trip.
Our current "pocket" camera is nice Panasonic Lumix with great wide angle focal ability and 16x zoom but it is not very shockproof and being on the water might cause it to fog up or get gummy from sea air...
The ebags Weekend etech convertible is a great inexpensive bag that I used on a 10 day trip to Costa Rica. The bag converts to a backpack but I have only used it as a suitcase. When the bag arrived, I was sure I would never be able to fit all my clothes for 10 days but it has an amazing amount of room. Look at the ebags website--the bag gets great reviews.
