Driving to Toronto from NY - which bridge?

I will be driving this Saturday morning from Rochester to Toronto via the NYS Thruway. Should get to Buffalo/Niagara area around 10am. What's the best bridge to take (to minimize border delays)? Thanks.

Not even close, take the Queenston-Lewiston bridge, it usually much less busy.

There is no need to go all the way into Buffalo (Peace Bridge) or Niagara Falls (Rainbow Bridge).

I completely agree with the above post. The Queenston-Lewiston bridge may be a bit slow sometimes but it isn't nearly as bad as the other alternatives.

Agree with the above. Tune your car radio to 91.9 FM as you approach Buffalo. It is a NF tourist station which broadcasts border crossing times. Q-L has the best duty free on the US side. We crossed at Peace however, and paid no toll for some reason. Also to use Q-L you have to cross grnad Island NY which has a .50 toll. If you do not want to go to NF Q-L is your best bet as it lets you avoid NF totally.

Yes, for sure, the Queenston - Lewiston bridge. It is usually much better.
Good luck.
