Any advice on the most rapid route from Boston to PEI...driving straight and did not want to stop...driving time? Is this a bad idea?

I think you have a 600 mile plus drive facing you. The road after you leave Bangor, Maine 9, to Calais in NB is fairly slow. I drove it a couple of years ago and thought it was long.
The road in NB is not bad, but you do go through Moncton. My guess would be 12 hours.
