Driving from Victoria to Tofino

Any suggestions for places to stop on the drive from Victoria to Tofino? There will be 2 children, a girl 7 & and boy 9. I know there is Catedral Woods along the route where they could run around and enjoy the park. Any other intersting places for kids? Thanks

I wish I could remember more details., but we stopped by this place by the side of the road where my boys could climb on the rocks and play in the river. It was on the right side of the road.

You don't say what month you are travelling, but there are two mini golf places in Parksville that are fun.

In Parksville, down by the beach is a huge playground. There is a small water park and lots of things for the kids to play on. Just head to the Parksville Beach parking lot. You could walk on the beach and play in the playground. There is a small concession with hot dogs and hamburgers etc.

Coombs Market as mentioned is fun. There are two restaurants there.

There is a wildlife recovery centre close by in Errington,

CindyW there is a place half way to Tofino from Port Alberni that has rocks on the side of the road with a river.

There is also a place in Port Alberni that is fun, Mcleans Mill
