Drive from Toronto to Montreal, Quebec and Gaspe Peninsula
Hi, my family of 4 (kids, 13 and 11) are intending to make a road trip during early August from Toronto for about 7-8 days. Any recommendations for accommodation, things to do and routes to take etc? by the way, we do not speak French and not too outdoorsy.
Thanks

That's pretty far.
To my mind, it's a reasonable day's drive to Montreal.
Another day to Quebec City, including half a day there to enjoy the sights.
And then another day's relaxed driving to Gaspe. A day to drive around, and then repeat the tree days back to Toronto.
Not much time for enjoying things.
On the other hand, turning around at Quebec City gives you more time, still in intresting places.
I'd do a circle.
Toronto to Kingston to Montreal to Quebec via the south shore of the St. Lawrence and eastern townships, to Quebec City, then back to Montreal alongthe north shore of theSt. Lawrence, then to Ottawa (packed with interesting things for those kids) and back to Toronto.
