Christmas Eve Dinner in Quebec City with kids

We are going to Quebec city this holiday to visit with relatives in the area. We are booked up with family on the 23, 25 and 26, but want to have a Christmas eve experience with just the 5 of us (2 adults, 3 kids 11, 8 and 5).
We'd like to do a christmas eve mass and have a traditional Quebec style dinner. I'm looking for recommendations as I'd like to get this booked quickly. As we have a little one, I don't want to have too much distance between the mass and the dinner.
Preferably in the vieux downtown so that we can walk the streets as well. Our kids aren't animals and can handle a long dinner in a nice place.
Thanks!

This offers an outstanding Quebec style food. Not sure they will be opened on Christmas Eve, but you could email them:

Hi! I would like to receive your suggestions too, as me and my husband will be spending Christmas Eve in Quebec City as well. I already sent an email to the restaurant recommended above but would love to hear more opinions.

You will have a great food experience at Aux Anciens and as the location is in a very old Quebec house it should not only be a gastromonic fest but a visual one also. hope you are as lucky ceix!! good luck!!
