My parents and I will be in Victoria from Dec 24 - Dec 27. We're staying at Hotel Grand Pacific and will not have a car. Our only current plan so far is to head to Butchart Gardens on Dec 24. We're also huge beer lovers, so we're planning one meal at Spinnaker's.
I'm looking for recommendations on Christmas dinner on the 25th. I haven't had much luck yet searching on google and am looking for some suggestions! Tried searching on past threads on TripAdvisor as well as restaurants for years passed, but still no luck. Any ideas?

I would highly recommend Christmas Dinner at Butchart Gardens. Not only will you get a fantastic meal, but if you go in the late afternoon/evening you can walk around the gardens as they are illuminated for the Chrisrmas season.
If you can possibly think about renting a car for a day, I'd consider Sooke Harbour House for a truly memorable Christmas dinner.
We're going to Butchart on Dec 24, so would prefer not to go there on Dec 25 as well. But I do appreciate the suggestion.

Sooke Harbor House looks awesome. I know our preference is to be *in* Victoria proper without a car, but I'll definitely suggest this as a possibility.
Thanks both... keep 'em coming!
I would book a table at the Empress for Christmas dinner.
Is having dinner at your own hotel an option?
Swans Wild Saffron Bistro is having a 5 course dinner special for $59.95 on Christmas Night.

Thank you sv0909 -- we ended up booking Wild Saffron Bistro about a week ago for our Christmas dinner. Really looking forward to it. We had a pretty tough time finding open restaurants on Christmas, and though we were leaning towards the Empress, the price tag of $160 per person was a little too steep!
Cheers.
there is also the quite good curry buffet in the bengal lounge at the empress. i always have christmas eve dinner there w/ a friend who is one of the carollers the empress hires for the holiday season. i don't recall the price being jacked up on christmas eve.
happy hols to all

Curry buffet? That sounds awesome. Right now we have reservations at a sushi place on the 24th, but I'll definitely suggest the Bengal Lounge as an alternate.
Thank you and happy holidays!
I second the idea of the curry buffet at the Bengal Room as it is AWSOME, and maybe a little different to what you would usually do........enjoy
Make me the third one to recommend the curry buffet in the Bengal Room.
