Charlottetown: Inns on Great George Street

Jump to last reply

HiFodorites. I am normally on the European Fodor Forum, but I’m “visiting” the Canadian site to let you know about a great place to stay in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island. It’s called the “Inns on Great George Street”. It’s a top-notch bed and breakfast style inn (actually several) with lovely spacious rooms, big private bathrooms,a small fitness centre and wonderful service, including a nice breakfast.

You can’t beat the location which is a short walk from the Province House, a national historic site and near lots of restaurants and shopping. I’m not sure what the rates are as I was travelling on business last week which means I got the corporate rate and of course it’s the off-season. Here is the web page for would-be guests and I hope my comments are useful for those planning a trip to Charlottetown now or next summer. www.innsongreatgeorge.com

Cheers and happy travelling,
