Cavendish PEI in late August

We are going to be passing thorugh Cavendish PEI at the end of August - just my wife and I and two child (10 and 13). Anyone have a recommendation as to where to stay. Would like to be in or just outside of Cavendish. Lookinf for something with PEI charm.
