Hi!
We're thinking of going on a Carnival Cruise to Canada with my daughters this summer. I really want to see Nova Scotia and we're thinking that a cruise may be a good option, since the cost of the cruise would be the same as a plane ticket there!
Has anyone ever been on one of these cruises? I've cruised before and do not love it, but I'm sure my daughters will. I also VERY much want to see Bay of Fundy and Nova Scotia. Do you think we would get a good "fix" of both places?
Carnival Cruise, anyone?

Typically you arrive in Saint John, NB and Halifax, NS. Some lines do visit Cape Breton Island (Sydney, NS).
Not sure if they have excursions to the Bay of Fundy from Saint John. You won't experience low and high tides, your timing won't be right.
For Halifax, you could spend the day exploring Halifax but wouldn't really get too far out of the city.
Both provinces have a lot to offer in terms of scenery, history, good food, etc. While a cruise is a bargain, you do sacrifice not being able to go too far off the port you arrive in.
