Car rental in Deer Lake or Cornerbrook to St. John's

We would like to rent a car from Deer Lake to St. John's is seems impossible to do this? Travel dates June 19th to June 22nd.
There is rental availability but it will not allow me to rent and take to St. John's. Does anyone have any tips?
