Trip Report Calgary stampede 2013 Will it go ahead

Jump to last reply

We are planning a trip to Calgary for the opening rodeo and show but of course due to the dreadful weather we are wondering whether the visit will be possible. We aim to be in Calgary for 4 days starting July 3 and thereafter onto Canmore- Banff and Jasper. It seems petty to be worrying about our holiday when the whole area is so badly flooded and people have lost homes etc.
Just trying to make perhaps different plans if necessary as flights from UK are booked and hotels etc.
Any advice would be appreciated.
