Buchart Gardens - Will flowers be blooming in early September?

I am planning a family cruise to Alaska and we may be going in September. We would like to visit Buchart Gardens but wonder if there will be much blooming in early September. If not, when are the best months to visit?

Thanks in advance for your feedback.

Here's the official word:

My wife and I were there in mid-August last year and it was fabulous. I imagine early September will still be super. Plan to spend a long time if you like gardens and stay for the night lights.

Dahlias should be going strong in early September. My favourite times at Butchart Gardens are when the tulips are out in April/May and around the last week of October for spectacular colour in the Japanese garden.

Yes, the dahlias! And they are simply jaw-dropping there in September.

Hopefully when we visit there on 7 October there will be some flowers and spectacular autumnal trees . . .

The dahlias were spectacular when I visited in mid October... I wouldn't be worried at all, honestly. There's always something amazing in bloom there, even in the winter.

I live here, and have been to Butchard Gardens every season of the year, trust me , there is almost no such thing as a bad time to go,, they make sure the gardens are lovely all year round, its in fact very popular with locals in winter, they put up a skating rink and Christmas lights etc.
