BrITISH COLUMBIA IN 4 DAYS
I know I am super late in posting this, but better late than never.
BRITISH COLUMBIA MAY 2016
Day 0 - Flew from Newark to Vancouver, checked in, Empire Landmark Hotel (***) and slept
Day 1 - We drove from our hotel to Capilano suspension bridge, spent a few hours there, great attraction to check out and not to be missed. We then drove to Grouse Mountain, went to the top of the mountain to admire the beauty, skiing is not an option in May but a trip to the top of the mountain is worth it because one can see the entire downtown Vancouver from there, came back to our hotel and crashed. Don’t miss sandbar seafood restaurant in Vancouver
Day 2 – Drove 3 hours to go to Joffre Lakes Provincial Parks, now unfortunately I could not go in as I was terribly sick but my friend did go in and had a wonderful time. There are 3 lakes and you hike up to each of the lakes. The view from each of the lakes is amazing. After we spent a considerable amount of time there, we drove back, made a quick photo stop at the Shannon waterfalls, and then drove back to our hotel and crashed, woke up and went to Gastown and explored the night life, don’t miss the steam clock there.
Day 3 – Woke up super early to catch the early AM ferry to Victoria, ferries leave from Tsawwassen terminal in Vancouver and arrive at Victoria’s Swartz Bay terminal in, we took our car with us. Once in Victoria, we drove to the best attraction there, Butchart Gardens, we were the first ones to enter and I highly recommend going there early to avoid the crowd and to get great pics. We then spent rest of the day exploring Victoria, we drove around, walked a little, ate at a few seafood places, all in all it was a great day in Victoria.
Day 4 – This day started with going to Stanley Park and relaxing, we walked around, explored the park relaxed a bit, took pics and then drove to Whistler, drove around to admire whistler’s beauty, did not spend a lot of time there. From what I understood it is a ski town, and in May one can’t really ski, so we drove back to Squamish, drove around in Squamish, admired the beauty, came back and drove the airport to catch our flight back to NYC, it was an overnight flight. Our last day was pretty much driving around, stopping, relaxing for a bit and then driving back to our next destination
I felt a 4 day trip was just perfect to explore BC

I just meant that I might have opted for a title like:
"4-day visit TO British Columbia"
(I imagine a person could spend 40 <b>years</b> exploring BC, and never finish, especially without a whole lot more <i>roads</i> in the hinterlands)
Perhaps <I>global warming</i> and population boom will combine to have the whole of BC more inhabitable in the future.

Hi!! Sounds like you had a really great trip!
I would just like to add some suggestions to this itinerary.
Day 1:
-Capilano Suspension bridge. I do think this is a must see if you are in Vancouver.
-Grouse Mountain: Grouse Mountain is definitely great. It's hard to walk up but you could take the lift up as well. It's a great view and you can look at the grizzly bears.
OR
-Quarry Rock: You can also drive to Quarry Rock which is about a 20 minutes drive from Capilano. Quarry Rock is a much easier hike and the view is spectacular. It's gotten super popular over the years though so it's packed with people on the weekends.
-Lynn Valley: You could also go to lynn valley as well which is close in distance to Capilano.
Day 2.
-Joffrey Lake Provincial Park: This place is great!
OR
-Some other day trips you could take are the Harrison Hot Springs, Cultus Lake, Chilliwack Lake, Sea to Sky Gondola.
Day 3:
-Victoria: Great choice! Victoria is a great place and it's a nice ferry ride over from Vancouver to Victoria. When you're in Victoria I would recommend the Butchart Gardens and the Parliament Buildings. There also used to be a really great wax museum when I went to Victoria a while back but unfortunately it seems that it has closed down
Day 4:
-Stanley Park: Again great choice! This is my favorite place. I would drive around the whole thing that way it's easier and you can stop and look at everything. But if it's during the summer time it's also nice to bike around the sea wall as well. I would stop at English Bay area for lunch. You can easily go to the downtown area from English Bay where there are lots of places to eat. Gastown at night is also beautiful as well.
