Border crossing Rainbow Bridge at Niagara Falls
We are a family of four living in Waterloo, Ontario and we are planning on crossing the border into NY via the Rainbow Bridge at Niagara Falls this coming Sunday, November 6 in the afternoon. We plan to come back into Ontario within the same day. Would the Bridge be very congested with cars crossing into NY and also crossing back into Ontario? If the traffic is bad, we may have to choose a weekday...Thanks in advance!

I find that that bridge of the 3 in the area is the easiest to get through. There is usually a sign up somewhere near Grimbsby/Beamsville on the QEW that says what the wait time is and as well you can check the border crossing wait times on the website for border crossings.

Please be aware that there is a Buffalo Bills home game on Sunday and the bridge traffic may be a bit heavier before 11 am and after 4 pm, but even with that, the delay is rarely more than 30 minutes on the Rainbow this time of year...
Do avoid the other North Bridge at Lewiston Queenston...

I think you will be fine but do heed the warning about the Bills game . I was once taking someone to the Buffalo airport . We didn't know there was a Bills game, And were delayed enough that my friend missed his flight .
