We were just in Ucluelet and saw these bears at the fish hatchery. We were around 12 to 15 feet away from them on a walkway on the one side of the river. You have to be on your toes though because the bears will come up and use the walk way as well. They are not interested in us however, just the fish that are coming in to spawn.

Thanks irecommend and Sam. You know I see bears alot, as a matter of fact they are in my back yard as we speak, but watching them fish in thier natural habit was amazing.
