we are going to banff in feb and have booked the cedar courts
cos OH wanted a living room to chill out in after skiing ( hell be skiin lake louise area but ill do my own thing in banff)
the only negative about this accommodation is that it apparently heats up in the studio apartment area...the upstairs area and some people have commented that you have to go outside to get to the dining room..not great but i in particular was after something closer to the banff village
years ago in summer i stayed at the inns of banff...that was a good half hour walk into the village..so i didnt fancy doing that in winter...the cedar courts are about fifteen mins from all the centre of the village but there is a bus that stops right outside apparently
lake louise is beautiful..the fairmont that is but there is nothing else to do in lake louise unless youre a skier...thats why i opted to book in banff and OH will have to drive about 45 mins each way to ski unfortunately for him
