I see this is supposed to open in May. What are the chances of it not being open yet in late July? Can get a rate of $309 for a two bedroom, two bath upper floor suite. While some other places offer two bedroom suites, they mainly only have one bath. This seems much better for us, and probably better than two individual rooms somewhere else. Anyone know anything about it? Location? Is it really village center? Alternatives?
Any word on the new Pan Pacific Whistler Village Center?

Hi Patrick,
The Pan was originally scheduled to be open this December, and that has now been moved till April. I would seriously doubt that anything would prevent them from opening by end of May at the very latest. It will be a beautiful building with great amenities, and it is right on the corner of Village Gate Blvd, and Blackcomb Way, so it is within walking distance to everything. Units on the southeast corner (6th floor and up )will have the best views of the mountains. That sounds like a good rate for July, but alternatives are the Westin, the original Pan Pacific, or the new Hilton(old Delta). My first choice would be the new Pan. Cheers, Al
Thanks, Whistler Al. I can't seem to clarify that the Westin even has two bedroom suites that have two bathrooms. This two bed/two bath suite idea at Pan Pacific looks fantastic at that price -- less than two standard rooms at the Westin or the old Pan Pacific.
