Just curious to see if anyone has an opinion on airfare from US (specifically Atlanta) to Newfoundland. The airfare for next July is around $724 pp. Is this a good airfare or should we hold out? My guess is that it's not a popular destination from Atlanta and therefore I shouldn't hold my breath for any sales.
Would appreciate feedback. Thanks!

I see most ATL-YHZ fares about $590 on Continental and Air Canada for Tues, Wed & Thurs. Slightly higher for other dates.
Still not cheap, but $724 seem high.
There aren't much competition on US-YHZ route in recent years, therefore the high fare. But you have lots of time, no need to hurry to buy right now. Wait a while and check often.
You should certainly wait. There will undoubtedly be seat sales before next July, and you should be able to get a fare below C$724. BTW, the code for St. John's NL is YYT, not YHZ (Halifax NS).
Oops... Sorry, somehow I kept thinking about Nova Scotia.
Check your routing options too, just going from Atlanta to Halifax (YHZ). Air Canada had sales on this year for most of the summer to St. John's (from Halifax) for $69-$79 (one-way pre-tax) so it may be cheaper for you to book 2 separate legs.
The Halifax airport is very small so you should have no problems catching your second flight if you leave enough "connection" time.
Enjoy-la!
