12 day trip thru New Brunswick

I have partially planned the trip my husband and I will take through New Brunswick late September but would appreciate advice prior to making final plans so I can adjust if I am spending too long in some areas and not enough in others. I tried not to rush to accommodate any bad weather we may encounter. We are just turning 60 and like hiking, exploring nature and apreciating the history and culture of the places we visit. I am a firm believer in not rushing through an area. That said, I don't want to run out of things to do. I have never been to New Brunswick and would be grateful if someone who is familar with the area could offer advice on the following itinerary.

Day 1 - fly into Bangor Maine, rent car and drive to Goldsboro, ME
Day 2 - Acadia NP and Schoodic
Day 3- Drive to Lubec & Quoddy Lighthouse
Day 4 - Campobello Island; drive to St. Andrews
Day 5 - Kingsbrae Gardens; drive Fundy Parkway ending up in Alma
Day 6 - Fundy National Park
Day 7 - Hopewell Rocks & Cape Enrage (if time perhaps a whale watching tour)
Day 8 - Drive north along coast ending up in Caroque
Day 9 - Acadian Village; drive to Edmonston
Day 10 - Botanical Gardens; drive to Grand Falls ending up in/near Fredicton
Day 11 - Kings Landing
Day 12 - Marysville; drive back to Bangor
Day 13 - flight home

I have made some travel commitments already but can adjust if need be. Appreciate the guidance of previous travelers.
