1 Day in Banff
I'm going to Calgary in mid-June for a conference and am arriving a day early so I can do a little bit of sight-seeing in Banff National Park. My plane is scheduled to arrive at 12:30 pm at Calgary; I have to be back in Calgary the following night. Since I'm traveling solo, I'm considering one of the tours offered by Discover Banff. Here are the options: http://www.banfftours.com/banff-acti...er/sightseeing
Any suggestions?
I won't need a car during my conference, so I'm strongly leaning towards taking the Calgary Airport Shuttle to Banff (although getting back to Banff from Calgary might be trickier).
any feedback or advice is appreciated!

Travelling solo it might be more fun if you're touring with a group, depending on whether you're a misanthrope or not !!
If it was my choice, and I had one entire day, I'd go with the Glacier Tour. Note that it starts at 8:30 a.m., so you'd have to be in the mountains the night before. Would that work with your schedule?
There are buses travelling between Calgary and Banff, check out the Brewsters website:
