Hi All!
My fiance and I are going on our honeymoon for 2 weeks to Bora Bora and Moorea in October. We both have never been and were wondering if anyone had any recommendations of what we should see or do. We will be relaxing, staying in the over the water bungalows, and snorkeling but wanted to know if there is anything we should plan on not missing since we don't know if we will get a chance to go back. Thanks for your help and suggestions!
What is a MUST SEE/ MUST DO in Bora Bora and Moorea??

On both islands, the activities center around the water. I have driven around Moorea and took a trip around Bora Bora, but they are so small it took a day for Moorea and only a fraction of an afternoon for Bora Bora. Unless you are scuba certified, other activities not mentioned is sailing - either in the lagoon to a day trip to a Motu.
Start with the list of activities offered by your resort. Be ready for a sticker shock.
Also you need to come to term with the weather. 1st time I was there, it was stormy and rainy half the time. On the second time, I had a good weather. The third time, it rained hard every afternoon and no sailing expeditions were possible until the day before the return.
I think the most important thing is the attitude. If staying at resorts, it is difficult to avoid the sticker shock. Know what to expect, plan for them, and enjoy. Many resort offer Polynesian dance demonstrations. If you are staying 2 weeks you will be hit with several of them. They are usually paired with a Polynesian buffet extravaganza. Sometime there is an alternative meal option, but other times that is the only meal option available at the resort at night.
Thanks nickn. Appreciate your reply. I will be crossing my fingers for great weather...but will know that bad weather is quite possible. Thanks!!
