Has anyone stayed here? Thoughts? It looks like a wonderful place to stay to enjoy the natural beauty of the South Island.
Any recommendations on things to see in the area?
How close it is to Fiordland National Park?
What is your favorite way to explore the park?
Thanks!

I've never stayed at this lodge, although it looks fabulous.
Whare Kea Lodge is located on the shore of Lake Wanaka. Wanaka is 273 km from Te Anau (about a 3 hour drive) and Te Anau is 121 km from Milford Sound (about a two hour drive).
