We're going back to Sydney, this time for New Year's Eve!!!

Just purchased our tickets for the gala and midnight party at the Opera House for New Year's Eve 2016. I'm so pumped, and with whom better to share the news than my friends here on Fodor's!!

Great! Have you booked your accommodation, or are you staying with friends?

Hi Bokhara, I've not booked my accommodations yet, but have a few choices in mind (Intercontinental, Radisson Blu, Marriott, Pullman). I also like Sir Stamford, where I stayed during my visit in 2013. Pullman and Marriott both mentioned that their rates won't be out until March.

Good - you're onto it.
Have fun - it's a fabulous time to be here.

Thank you, Bokhara. And it will be our first visit to Tasmania too.

Intercontinental would be a fabulous location for NYC. I love the hotel too.
