Transit time between international connections at Brisbane Airport?

Jump to last reply

I'm considering various flight options which would cause me to have to transit between 2 different airline carriers, on 2 separate tickets.

I would arrive into Brisbane on either a Quantas or Virgin Australia (incoming international flight) and would want to transit to Hawaiian Airlines for a departure flight.

I would appreciate advise as to: Will I need to clear customs & immigration (I'm not Australian)? Is 1.5-2 hours enough time? Is Quantas or Virgin easier for the transition? Or do I simply need to spend the night in Brisbane?

Cheers.
